Focus Countries
Current activities by COHRE around the globe

In addition to monitoring the status of housing rights globally, COHRE’s regional and thematic programmes work intensively in a limited number of key focus countries across the world.

In each of its key focus countries, COHRE collaborates closely with local partners, including through conducting joint fact-finding missions, and developing and planning joint strategies.

COHRE and its local partners on the ground promote housing rights through advocacy campaigns, litigation, capacity building and training, dialogue with governments, and the development of community-driven alternatives to forced eviction.

Following are COHRE's focus countries for 2010 - 2012:
